Faster website + band genres
In May you have been listening to so many songs on hoytocoyo that we almost exceeded the bandwidth limit. For that reason, and also to make the website generally load faster, we moved everything onto a new server, which is located here in Barcelona. It is bigger and faster and allows you to listen to 10 times more songs in a month.
Genres & locations
With almost 50 bands registered, it is becoming more important to categorize the bands. So, in your band profile we have added the ability to specify:
- where your band is based
- what kind of music you play
This will allow us later to sort the bands and have individual listings and contests for bands in the same location or with similar musical style.
